For the discerning admirer of beauty though, it is time for the Kingfisher calendar to be unveiled. Promising, as always to both scorch and soothe your senses at the same time, very few are fortunate enough to get their hands on a piece.Blending the glamour of the classic issues along with sneak peeks into the latest offering.
It's no surprise that many people came out to this year's Kingfisher Calendar release party for 2009. The brunch party was served to a guest list which included people such as Arjun Rampal, Ritu Kumar, and Rahul Dev. The launch party was hosted by none other than the Chairman of Kingfisher, Dr. Vijay Mallya at The UB group at The Hub, Emporium Mall in New Delhi. This year's calendar which boasts being the best one yet includes two side by side images of the models each month and the pictures this year appear both in color and black and white. The models featured were Moni Kangana Dutta from India, Tamara Moss (Holland and India), Nargis Fakhri (Czech Republic and Pakistan), Suisa Jongsawat (Thailand), Katya Melnikova (Russia), and Mimi Blix (Norway and Uganda).
Dr. Vijay Mallya said,"As one of the most well known and respected consumer brands in the country, Kingfisher has become synonymous with a lifestyle that encompasses some of the finest things in life. With our airline going global, this was the right time to present some of the finest models from around the globe. I am sure this year to the calendar will be a much coveted possession for one and all."
